GENERAL INFORMATION
The Alabama State Youth Competition will be held in conjunction with the Alabama State Convention at the Hyatt Regency Birmingham (The Wynfrey Hotel) in Hoover, AL (this is the hotel attached to the Hoover Galleria). The address for the Hyatt Regency is 1000 Riverchase Galleria, Birmingham, Alabama 35244.
The Friday night service of the State Meeting will feature a multi-generational worship service with student-led worship and a challenging message from Pastor Rick Cash. After the service, there is a planned event for youth. We encourage all CTS participants, along with adults and youth of all ages, to participate in this service. We would love to see churches bring their entire youth groups to this service, whether participating in CTS competition or not.
The competition will start Saturday morning with an informational meeting at 8:45. Competition will begin at 9 am. The Hyatt Regency facilities will allow multiple areas of competition to be running simultaneously as in years past. The competition schedule will be set by the CE Board to facilitate competition flow, but, withstanding exceptions to accommodate efficiency or judging needs, will follow the numerical order of competition code, from lowest to highest and youngest to oldest. Creative arts will be on display throughout the day, and we ask that all entries be placed in their given location first thing in the morning. After all competition is over and all Judges Sheets have been tallied, we will commence with the awards ceremony.

Please follow the Vertical Three Conference CTS Ministry Expo Guidelines, available for purchase from Randall House at the link here. Please take notice of your specific entries to see if there have been any changes within the guidelines, and be in compliance with those guidelines.
The Dress Code printed in the Guidelines was adopted by the National Association of Free Will Baptists for Youth Competition. Please help portray an example of modesty and respect by discussing the Dress Code and by setting guidelines for your young people that work in harmony with the Dress Code.

FEES
Fees must be paid before the competition.
There will be a late fee of $10 for each entry received after April 16, 2025.
Fees are listed in the Guidelines revised for this year:
$20 per exhibition entry
$35 per single entry category
$65 per group entries of 2-4 people
$110 per group entries of 5+
Please attach a list of the individual, group, or groups for whom fees are being paid.
