The Alabama Free Will Baptist State Convention will return to the Hyatt Regency in Birmingham for this year’s annual meeting, April 27-30, 2022. The hotel, which is connected to the Riverchase Galleria, provides a convenient and comfortable location. The scheduled events will offer something for the entire family. In addition to the business sessions, there will be powerful preaching, stirring music, and practical seminars. Alabama Women Active for Christ will have their annual meeting on Friday afternoon, and the youth of our state will meet Saturday morning for competition.

This year’s convention will take time to praise the Lord as we celebrate two milestones. On Thursday evening, we will emphasize the twenty-fifth Anniversary of the Alabama Acts 1:8 Missions support plan. Both present and former missionaries will be present. The following night, attendees will rejoice in seventy-five years of ministry at the Alabama Free Will Baptist Children’s Home. Former residents and staff are welcome to attend. Another blessing this year is former Executive Director Rick Cash and his wife Sally are scheduled to be present for these two celebrations.
